Breakfast is a great way to pack in the nutrition first thing in the morning and if you want to save some time, overnight oats are a great solution.
This is a simple recipe which you can tweak to your liking.
1/2 cup oats
1 cup milk (I use oat milk mostly)
1/4 cup granola or nuts
1 tbsp goji berries
1 tsp cinnamon
I place the oats, granola, cinnamon and berries into a mason jar.
Mix them in and add the milk and banana.
Mix again and place in the fridge overnight.
You can add other ingredients if you desire, to make it thicker.
The following morning you can add some more fruit and seeds.
I use the banana as a natural sweetener but feel free to add some maple syrup if you have a sweet tooth.
You are ready for the day with a nutritious meal in tow.
